Me and my colleague Lalit Sharma met at Hyatt Regency, which is one of the prestigious 5 star hotels in New Delhi, around 7 PM IST.
After clearing the security we were in the beautiful lobby area which was nicely decorated and very spacious. We visited Polo Lounge, Hyatt Café, The China Kitchen, La Pizza, TK’s Oriental Grill and Sidewalk and clicked some nice pictures with my newly bought Sony Digital Camera. Special mention for the courteous and helpful Hyatt staff.
At 7.30 pm we went straight to Aangan Restaurant where a table was booked in our names for our formal dinner. Well dressed and well informed staff welcomed us warmly. Set in a prime space just off the main lobby foyer, Aangan, one of the best Indian award winning restaurants in Delhi depicts traditional Indian décor with objects d’art representing the regions of Indraprastha and Hastinapur. We enjoyed the Live entertainment that enhances the atmosphere every evening.
We savoured vegetarian North Indian dishes like Hara bhara kabab as starter before moving to the main course of Rice and Paneer Lababdar. The courteous staff Mr. Saurabh allowed us to click our picture with the live orchestra.
Evening ended on a good note thanks to Hyatt and Lalit Sharma. We skipped our coffee at Café due to shortage of time. Soon we zoomed towards office and got back to work once in.
